Auro was born from a family history connected to olive oil production in Northeast Portugal.
For us, olive oil is more than a product, it is memory, heritage and belonging.
Our story begins in a village where olive groves, stone houses and local traditions have been preserved across generations.
Santulhana
A rare olive found nowhere else.
At the heart of Auro is the Santulhana olive: a rare native variety exclusive to Northeast Portugal.
Cultivated in small family groves, Santulhana produces an elegant olive oil with fresh green aromas, notes of green almond and a refined peppery finish.
Its rarity, limited production and deep connection to the land make it one of the region’s hidden treasures.
